Cousin's Wedding

It has been long since my last post. Bukan sebab beraya sakan, busy with work (boring!boring! no xtra cuti) and organizing some activities for the staff. I was summoned to the Big Boss office for a few times regarding the staff events and of course every time I went, I will get, do this, do that, come up with this listing, this format ...

I got to know about my cousin's wedding a week before the actual wedding. Tak invite saya ke? Sedara mana ada invite - invite, by default kena pergi la, grunt my aunty. One tiny problem is the nikah is on Friday 11/11, that means I have to take leave, and I only have 3 days left? Tiny probem? BIG problem, as 2 days going to be utilize for next week, holidaying myself at Pangkor (Anedra, don't turn green, hehehe). After that no more leave until year end. Can I survive? Oh! I forgot there's the thing called MC right? Shhhh. Don't tell my boss yea?

The nikah was held at Masjid Wilayah. A nice one to remember. My cousin did it in one lafaz. Good on him. It reminded me of my own akad. I was told that AT lafaz for 4 times (I was sitting quiet far so I can't really hear the akad). When I teased him about it, he says:

I've done it for four times, so habis quota la.

Oh! How romantic, if you get what he means :)

Saturday's wedding rehersal was postponed from morning to the afternoon, I missed it as I have plans. The wedding is somewhat a fairytale kind of wedding, which I dreamt of when I was a teenager. Nevertheless, I never regretted for getting married at a very young age.

The ceremony was emceed by Pak Sako, reciting pantuns every now and then. One of his interesting remark was,

Hidup suami isteri ni, kena ada ketua, suami sebagai general, isteri sebagai major.
Sebab selalunya, suami buat GENERAL decision, isteri buat MAJOR decision.

Hmmm.. Not sure how true, but everybody had a good laugh with all his interesting remarks.
