Lynette

I met Lynette last friday during my boss's farewell party. Lynette is my boss's wife. She's very attractive, short hair, glowing skin and friendly. Wore very thin make up, almost nothing if you don't count lipstick as one.

We had a nice chat, talking about tennis(Ivanovic losing to Zheng that evening), euro cup, english premier league (which team has the best looking man, hahahah!), my coming holiday (yeay, I'll be going back for a holiday in a couple more days), etc.

Asked her on some tips of looking healthy, glowing, energetic and confident.

"Oohhh! I love exercise! I do it whenever I can. Riding a bike, swimming. I love those. I drink plenty of water. On average of 8 liters per day. Drink water before your coffee. Drink again after your coffee. Drink in the car, in the office, everywhere. Stop and enjoy life. It's just not right for us to work long hours, and neglect our body.

ooohhh, oohhh and I lie about my age too. I think I do look my age but whenever asked how old I am, I always added a couple more years to it. Then, people will tell me, " Oh! you look good for a 45 years old". "Wow! You look much younger!" " You sure don't look 45 to me". Hahahahah!

She's absolutely right. Keeping the pace with work, makes us forget on how important for us to take care of ourselves. I've been doing that for the past 11 years. I worked late hours. By the time I reach home, I'm dead tired. The next day will have the same routine. 11 years.

I'm 36. I'm lucky to work here in Qatar today. I go home when it's still hot, when the sun is still shining. Whenever I get into the car, it felt like my bum is burning once I landed on the car seat. I should stop complaining. I go home at 4. I could go to the gym after that. I should. And drink plenty of water too.... and start adding years to my age :)

I thought she was 38. At most 40. Anyway, I'm 43, she laughed.

i tink if you tell them your real age pun orang akan terkejut. we asians have baby faces that make us look younger than our real age.

what you are only 36? you look waaaayy younger.

I have met you kan? Kat the bloggers' meet dulu masa Aunty N duduk kat Suitestay? The name sounds so familiar, but I am BAD at keeping up to date with other people's blogs. :(

And now when you have just recommenced blogging, I am thinking of taking a time-out. Just no mood at the moment.

Thank you for the sound advice .. I'm still touch and go with Seth .. I think I've lost the battle with his sleep patterns (right now I'm in the "gasaklah if he wants to hisap bonbon satu malam - I'm too tired to bear his screams" mode) and as far as feeding goes, he has his good days and bad days. Anyway, first year he still takes main nutrition from BM, so I'll just see lah how.

Will try to pop by here when I can. :)

But if you're on FB, I'm there!
