Types of cars by Imran

When we came to Doha in February, what excites Imran was the type of cars he sees on the road in Qatar. Cars here are bigger compared to the one we’ve seen back in Malaysia – costs are cheaper, cars and the petrol. And oh! There are no road tax, toll and parking fee too.

Most of all, Imran was thrilled as he saw the ‘transformers’ cars, Chevrolet Camaro, Hummer H2 and GMC Sierra to name a few. Every time we were on the road, he will continue commenting; “Ayah, Laju tak kereta tu?” He really enjoyed the trip that AT gave him to the showrooms, GMC, Hummer, Mini, Volkswagon, BMW, Nissan, Honda, Mazda and came with lots of stories about cars to tell me. His favorites are Charger, and all the nice sports cars like Lamborghini and Porsche.

One day, the kids were minding their own business, drawing, reading books, playing games and Imran was drawing and writing down stories about cars. He drew one nice car and wrote ‘Porsche Kain’. We had a very good laugh at his Porsche Kain, not that it was made of kain J. What he really meant was ‘Porsche Cayenne’. Now he would be very cautious, every time he mention a new car name he would ensure he knows the spelling too.

That’s Imran and on the 6^th of August he turned 7. Happy Birthday Imran!
