Stop and listen

.....My 3 years old at 7 months.......

My 3 years old starts schooling this year. He starts to pick up some Indonesian vocab, & talks lots about soap synopsis. I guess this is the results of spending too much time with an Indon maid.

He now recites (or should I said muttered) lots & lots of songs & du'as that he learned from school. He is 'pelat' & most of the times I have to play 'guessing games' understanding what he says.

He was reciting this 'phrase' few times for few days.......sik minum cilo-cilo....... and I was guessing, in fact thinking very hard of what he meant. Today, out of the blue, it just makes sense...... and he confirmed what he meant was....... "Sip = minum slow-slow" Rupanya dia tengah bagi definition....... :)

Ahhhh....... sometimes you just need to stop thinking and start listening!
