perfect...prefect?

It was month end again. Busy tahap dewa. One of the legal vehicle that I jaga screwed up. Spent days after days reconciling their accounts. I wanted to curse the OIC responsible for the transactions, it will do more harm than good. Sabar je la.

On Friday the 30th, around 8pm I was busy in a net meeting with the LV OIC, my handphone rang. It was from one of my team mate who has gone back at 5pm. Office hours ended at 6 yea? I pressed 'End'. Got no time to answer the call. One minute passed. She called again. What on earth that she wants? It better be important, I answered.

Shidah, have you updated MY rates?
Why? I asked.
I noticed no update when I went home, wanted to remind you as you are tide up today.
Why you need to check? What time you went back? Was the rates out that time? I asked sarcastically.

I'm pissed. She went home at 5, knowing that I have a problem, tak cukup tangan. She went back even before the rate was out from the source. Now she has the chick to tell me that she noticed I haven't updated the rate when she went home? Now she wanted to check whether I have done it? What is she? Tahu aku busy, takut aku lupa, tunggu la sampai pukul 6 and update it yourself. I will definitely appreciate it kalau she were to tell me " I've updated the rates for you today, since I noticed that you're short handed." Ini tidak, call aku macam aku budak2, monitor what I do, macam prefect. Walhal dia tu, debit credit pun manjang confius. Oh, bukan, she's not my boss, not my supervisor, mere colleague.

Sorry la, aku marah ni. I feel humiliated. At this age, at this level, I don't think I need to be reminded of my resposibilities. Lain la aku ni kaki lupa hantar report, kaki delay. Kalau nak tunjuk take care ke, nak tolong ke, kecik tapak tangan, satu meja aku tadahkan.

Sekarang? Dah tak marah. Dah cool.. 3 LV aku dah settle. Dia yang handle 1 LV, masih tak siap. Tengoklah nanti kalau aku rajin, aku pi tanya whether she need help. Itupun kalau...
